A short cut for your reference list

Here's a tip you can use to save yourself some time creating reference lists. We all know once you've finally finished writing your assignment, the last thing you want to do is spend another hour writing up your bibliography or reference list (that's if you have an hour to spare!). The steps below will show you a shortcut for referencing books and journal articles.

The first thing you need to do is search for the item you want to add to your reference list in Summon. Once you've found the book or journal article, follow the next steps in the screenshots below.



REMEMBER: the items you save in the folder will disappear once you close the browser. Also, you will need to check the references created in Summon for inaccuracies. You can check them against the Referencing Guides the Library has created, or if you wanted to reference an item manually refer to these:
