Referencing Refresher

Have you noticed we are half way through the semester already? Now is a great time to revisit referencing to ensure you are familiar with the referencing standards that are required in your upcoming assessments.

The library website has a range of tools available to assist with your referencing. You'll find detailed referencing guides for a range of styles including APA, Harvard, Vancouver and the Australian Guide to Legal Citation. Check with your lecturers or course convenors what style your faculty uses.

You can also take advantage of some referencing tools that are available through Bond University Library:
  • Endnote allows you to create a library of your references, making it easy to create bibliographies, add in-text citations, and choose your required referencing style.
  • Refworks is a similar tool to Endnote, but rather than storing your reference library on your hard drive your reference list is stored online.

Remember: Don't leave your referencing to the last minute!
It may take longer than you expect!

If you have any questions, Ask a librarian! Or head over to the Library and Computing Service Desk at the Main Library to talk to someone in person.
