New databases for 2011

Get yourself familiar with some resources that you'll be using this year by browsing the titles and following the links on the list. You'll find lots of helpful resources to assist you to find information for your assignments or research. Our new database subscriptions for 2011 bring a wealth of academic information across many disciplines studied here at Bond.

Art and Architecture Complete (via Ebsco) - Provides full text access to Australian art and architecture related academic journals, magazines, trade publications and books. Also includes an image collection of over 64,000 images.

Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals (via Ebsco) - Provides current literature on the architecture and design of Europe, Asia, Latin America and Australia, as well as architecture archaeology, city planning, interior design, historic preservation.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Reference Center (via Ebsco) - Covers all aspects of BC/DR including management, planning, impact analysis, risk, emergency, and strategic planning with full text articles from over 170 publications.

Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) - Covering key issues in science, medicine and public health. Access is to full text articles from 1998 to date.

LawNow (via LexisNexis) - Covering all Australian jurisdictions and including Australia’s largest collection of historical legislation. Connect the legislation you need, with all subscribed cases and commentary, including links to and from CaseBase. Cross-check the government websites, including direct links from each Act or Regulation.

Nature - Covering all areas of science and technology, including up-coming trends affecting science, scientists and the wider public. Access is to full text articles from 1997 to date.

New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM.org) - Contains full text articles on the results of medical research worldwide, as well as Videos in Clinical Medicine, Images in Clinical Education and interactive medical cases.

Oxford Bibliographies Online - Provides modules to assist research in the Criminology and Philosophy subject areas.

Oxford Scholarship Online - Provides the full text of selected Oxford titles in the areas of business and management, economics and finance, law, linguistics, philosophy, political science and psychology.

Procedures Consult - Provides high quality video, text and illustrations on procedures for General Surgery, as well as self-directed procedure training and testing.

Sage Research Methods Online (SRMO) - An interactive tool to link you to content specifically relevant to your chosen research method, including content from books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks and journals.

Science Online - A leading journal in the field of scientific research, global news, and commentary along with other collections. Access is to full text articles from 1997 to date.

Standards Australia Online (via SAI Global)
- Access the complete collection of current Australian Standards. Search for document titles or by keyword, phrase or standard number.

Transfer Prices (via BNA International Tax Center) - Provides detailed analysis to aid management of intercompany prices regarding exchange of goods or services between related companies located in different companies, includes analysis of the U.S. transfer pricing rules, as well as those of the OECD and 16 other U.S trading partners.

International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS) publications – The world’s leading authority on political military conflict. Access is available for the following five journals which can be found by searching the title in e-Journal Portal:
