Information about the Library for new students

Welcome to all the new students for the 111 semester, and welcome back to all continuing students.

For new students, getting to know what's available in the Library and how you can access it is information valuable to your studies. The easiest way to get this information is to come to one of our information sessions:

Quickly find out where the different facilities and resources are, and how to do the basics, like borrow, and use the student printing system.

RefWorks is reference management software, and as a Bond student you have free access to your own account. We'll show you how you can use it to produce reference lists and manage the references for your assignments.

Finding Information for Assignments will show you the best ways to find electronic journal articles, books and other resources using the databases and other online tools such as the Library Catalogue and e-Journal portal.

The Law Library also offers special sessions targeted for Law students, and you can book in for these at the desk in the Law Library.

The sessions are only available at the start of semester, and are quite short and useful. All welcome - if you're a continuing student and would like a refresher, come along. Session times are here and there's no need to book (except for the Law sessions); just turn up at the time that suits you.
