Wireless network upgrade on Friday 5 March

On Friday (5 March), Information Services will be introducing two new wireless networks to improve wireless performance, authentication and security. In order to make the change, there will be an unavoidable outage from 6am – 7am.

So from Friday, students and staff are requested to connect to the following respective wireless networks:

BondStudents

BondStaff

To make use of these new networks, it's necessary to add a new network connection to your laptop (or other mobile device), and there are guides on how to do this on the Bond website:

Student Guides: http://www.bond.edu.au/student-resources/student-support/computing-support/for-students/wireless-access/index.htm
Staff Guides: http://www.bond.edu.au/student-resources/student-support/computing-support/for-staff/service-desk-support/user-guides/index.htm

And in case you're wondering, the existing ‘WaveLan’ network will continue to be available during the transition period, and for devices that are unable to be supported on the new networks. And as always, if you need further assistance just ask us at the Library & Computing Service Desk (5595 4444).
