Library closed this week

Well, the big move is upon us. The new extension to the Main Library is officially going to be ready for use this week, and now we're moving in.

Having completed construction of the brand new extension, the builders are now turning their attention to refurbishing what up until now has been Level 2 of the Main Library. The refurbishment will continue throughout next semester, and this area will be inaccessible for this time.

So, right now we're moving all of the facilities and services out of this area, and setting them up on Level 3 of the brand new extension. This does mean that we will be closed for this week only, but we'll be back in business next week. From 5th May, the Main Library will be open again, via a new entrance at the end of the extension (at the top of the hill).

The Law Library, Multimedia Learning Centre, and Level 1 Computing Labs remain open this week, so computing facilities and learning spaces are still available. Also, you can still return your books and other items that you've borrowed from the Main Library! Just put them in the return chute outside the Main Library entrance, or take them over and drop them in to the Law Library.

And as of next week we'll be up and running from a brand new, exciting space; see you there!
