Things to try in National Science Week

It's semester break and it's National Science Week. Are you looking for something new to try?

  1. Explore Picture Australia
Picture Australia is a wonderful resource for finding Australian images. Try out the Environment trails, then search for images on a topic of your choice.
  2. Explore Bright Sparcs, "a register of people involved in the development of science, technology, engineering and medicine in Australia, including references to their archival materials and bibliographic resources" -- Home Page.
  3. Listen to a podcast from Science Online. If you like what they have on offer and you have an ipod, you can subscribe through iTunes. Otherwise, you can enjoy them at your computer by subscribing with a feed reader or directly from the journal website.

Visit the National Science Week website for more ideas -- like taking part in the National Fear Survey.
